Dear expert,

Can I connect two output together to drive one 2A H-bridge load with one DRV8908?

Below two current is 4A in this case , right?

"Continuous supply current (VM pins combined)

Continuous sink current (GND pins combined)"

If using two parallels output to drive 2A high side or low side, can one DRV8908 drive 4 2A high side or 4 2A low side?

    Ryan,

    Literally, DRV8908's two outputs in paralleling mode can drive 2A load. But, DRV8908 doesn't provide the current regulation function. Please make sure each output current lower than its 1.1A OCP current threshold. So, make each output trace length same.

    If using two parallels output to drive 2A high side or low side, one DRV8908 could drive 4 2A high side or 4 2A low side at same time for a very short. And then, DRV8808 could run into thermal shutdown. Please check the thermal performance in this case.
