My customer wants to use SPI communication on MCT8316ZTEVM.

MCT8316Z0TRGFR is mounted on MCT8316ZTEVM, is it possible to communicate with SPI by changing only the jumper?

Hi Louis,

Yes, you can use MCT8316ZTEVM with the MCT8316Z0RRGFR and communicate with SPI using either the onboard MSP430FR2355 or an external MCU. To communicate using an external MCU, please depopulate the SDO, SDI, nSCS, and SCLK jumpers and jumper over the SPI signals from the external MCU hardware to the spots below.

Also ensure the SPI resistors are populated and R17 is not populated.
