I'm seeing some misalignment between the datasheet and evaluation board. Specifically with pins #36, #37, #38 on MCF8316A.
This means that pins #38 has SOX functionality, pins #36, #37 should be not connected. However in the EVM user guide, that SOX pin is placed on pin #36 (and not pin #38, as appear in the datasheet), while pins #38 and pins #37 are connected to 32 kHz crystal. In the datasheet pin #37 is a NC (#38 in the datasheet - is SOX).
Do I need to follow the DS or the EVM? If it should be datasheet, to which pins should I connect (optional) 32 kHz crystal ?
