Hello,

When DRV8343-Q1's V_DS monitor is enabled by the register bit DIS_VDS_x = 0b, does the function always monitor a V_DS voltage for OCP regardless of the INHx/INLx condition?
When DRV8343-Q1's sense over-current fault is enabled by the register bit DIS_SEN_x = 0b, does the function always monitor a sense voltage for OCP regardless of the INHx/INLx condition?

Hi Yokota-san,

VDS overcurrent is monitored when the associated input is high. For instance, if INHB = 1, then the DRV8343-Q1 monitors VDRAIN-SHB for VDS overcurrent. If VDRAIN-SHB > VDS_OCP (after the tOCP_DEG period), then a VDS fault for that FET is detected.

If DIS_SEN_B = 1b, then the fault will not trigger since VDS monitoring is disabled.

Is it applicable for OCP by both VDS monitors and low-side CSAs?

Hi Yokota-san,

VSEN overcurrent is active when the INLx input is high. If INLx = 0, then VSEN_OCP is not monitored.
