MCT8316Z: Request for help with MCT8316Z Evaluation Board USB Serial Driver

Hello,

I have been able to get the Evaluation board to function with one laptop PC, but the USB Serial device was not recognized on another Laptop I am trying to make use of. Please let me know if there is a link to a USB serial driver that can be installed if the PC does not already have it.

Hi Randy,

The USB should be compatible with the onboard FTDI USB-to-UART driver. If not, try installing a Windows driver to see if this fixes the issue: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/
