Hi,

Good day. I hope you are doing well.

Our customer has this inquiry about the DRV8718s. Can you please help us? Thank you.

I am working on the DRV8718s board and I am currently driving the drv chip with an external micro. I have the communication working and everything seems normal except that when I enable the nsleep pin on the drv chip, all of the GHx pins go high.

    Hi Cedrick,

    Thank you for sharing customer's question.

    While DRV8718 makes "OFF/HiZ" on output, GHx is trying to be same as SHx voltage(Gate driver pull down). Sometimes by external circuit (e.g External NMOS leakage current), SHx pin goes some voltage then GHx will follow it. However external NMOS is OFF surely.
