Hi Team,

customer is using DRV8244SQRYJRQ1 and would like to know if the device needs to be configured first via SPI before control via PWM is possible?

    Stefan,

    If the customer wants to use the PWM mode, they will need to write 0b11 to the MODE bits in the SPI register.  The default mode for the device is phase/enable (PH/EN).  Please see MODE table for explanation in datasheet.
