DRV201: the DRV201 is a right solution for OIS ?

DRV201: May i know the comparison of PWM mode and linear mode?

Hi, 

Since i don't what is the advantage and disadvantage of linear and PWM mode. 

I want to know how these two mode operate and what is the comparison result of these mode?

    Gary,

    The DRV201A is the newer device in the family of VCM that can be used for auto-focus.  PWM mode is more efficient than linear...there are plots in the datasheet comparing the efficiency.  

    For OIS, that will require a closed-loop on position.  The device is only a driver that can move a lens out and back for focusing...there is no closed loop on position.
