DRV8770: How do I initialize the driver?

Hello,

I am using the driver with the MODE pin tied to GVDD so that I can driver each half-bridge with a single drive signal. However, when powered, I never see that the lower MOSFET gate drives going high (GVDD = 12V in my application).

Is there a sequence that I must follow to enable to force both half-bridges off so that I can charge the bootstrap capacitors?

The primary issue was with our design. By following TI advice, I have added gate-source resistors and zener diodes to each of the MOSFETs and with a lot of boundary condition testing, we have not had any unexpected operation. Thank you!
