Hi Expert,

What is the difference between " Functional Safety Compliant" and "Functional Safety Quality Managed"? It will be better to show some examples.

Hi Eason,

For a high-level answer:

FS-Compliant means that the device was designed and developed with the TI Functional-Safety process to be compliant to specific standards (such as ISO26262 or IEC61508) with a targeted Safety Integrity Level (SIL/ASIL). This has supporting documents such as Safety Analysis Report, FIT rate calculations, and Safety Manual.
FS-Quality-Managed means that the device has a lot of the same supporting documents mentioned above, but might not have been designed with a Functional Safety Standard in mind.
