DRV8889-Q1: About entering sleep mode and recovering from faults

Hello, Team,

We have two questions from a customer, but could not find exact answer from the datasheet.
It would be very much helpful if you could support these questions:

1. Does the device enter the sleep mode if and only if nSLEEP pin is configured? 
   We think that only toggling nSLEEP pin makes the device to enter sleep mode.
   We would like to know whether there is a condition which the device enters sleep mode without commands from MCU etc.
2. The device recovers from faults by either automatic or nSLEEP pin (Table 7-10).
   Are there any faults that requires a device reset i.e. powering on -> off -> the device?
