At present, 12000 pieces are produced, and about 10 pieces are defective, and they are still being reported recently.

Poor performance: the motor drive function cannot be used, and most of them are hot. VGLS (Pin2) and GLA, GLB and GLC are slightly short circuited. The normal impedance is above 100k, and the error is abnormal. Some are as low as 80O, and some are at 2k.

Hi Sam,

Schematic is a little hard to read but I see that IDRIVE = 75k to 5V, which is 450mA/900mA IDRIVE settings. The MOSFETs used (MDU1931) have Qgd = 15.7nC, which results in a VDS rise/fall time of as fast as 17.4ns. This is too fast for switching high-current applications with the DRV835x.

Can you try lower IDRIVE settings (IDRIVE pin = Hi-Z or a resistor to GND) to reduce gate drive current and increase the VDS rise/fall time? We recommend 100ns or faster.
