DRV2700: How to disable boost converter?

Hi,

Let me ask you how to disable the boost converter of DRV2700.

I would like to use DRV2700 as a just amplifier due to high switching noise of the boost converter.

Will you tell me how to disable?

If it is not possible, will you tell me how to reduce the switching noise?

For example, how do you think to use "snubber" circuit which is set between "SW"(7, 8pin) pin and GND?

Hi Takumi,

the PVDD can be disconnected from the BST pin and PVDD supplied externally. the BOM associated with the Boost, Inductor, FB resistors and boost cap could be removed. SW, BST,FB pins could be connected to GND

In the case that the boost is enabled and there is alot of noise on the boost output you could use a larger Capacitor on the boost to smooth the output.
