Hi Team,
May I ask if MCF8316 can generate code through GUI? Our competitor is STSPIN32G4.
Customer reply STSPIN32G4 is very easy to use. No need to write firmware.
Could you give me some suggestions to WIN Biz? thx

Hi Jimmy,
MCF8316A has an integrated motor control algorithm, so the user doesn't need to worry about developing FOC code. Its integrated FOC algorithm can be configured and tuned through setting several user accessible registers via I2C.
The GUI simply provides an interface to configure the MCF8316A's onboard EEPROM registers through I2C. Alternatively, they can utilize standard I2C with any MCU to read/write to the MCF8316A registers. Once the MCF8316A's registers have been configured properly, they just need to provide a speed input through analog, PWM, or I2C to the MCF8316A to control motor speed.
Regards,
Eric C.
