DRV8306EVM: Reg. Maximum operating current of the board

Hope you are having a wonderful day.

I am designing a 3 Phase BLDC motor controller using the DRV8306EVM. When I was testing the board with the no jumpers on VDS and IDrive I noticed a the VIN trace burning out near the Capacitor. Please find the attached image. 

The FETs on the board are rated for 50A but I am not sure if the board can handle this. Could someone help me to confirm the maximum operating current of the board. 

Also, No matter what current setting I try, the motor doesn't spin. When I tried placing the jumpers of VDS and IDrive on highest setting (bottom most jumper setting), I think i damaged the board. Since then, the nFault LED automatically lights up even if there is no motor connected and just powered the board.

Motor details: Voltage 24 V DC   400 Watt
