BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM: Stalled motor is shaking during torque control

Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28069M

I have a BOOSTXL-DRV8305 and a LAUNCHXL-F28069M  - connected to a Teknic BLDC motor.

The motor runs both smoothly and silent compared with other SDK's and drives.

During testing of LAB-5A, the speed loop is disabled so we're running FOC in torque mode.
The lab is about tuning of torque PI, so I'm holding the rotor fixed with my hand.

I was expecting to be able to tune the controller such that I would feel a constant torque on my hand, but the stator flux won't stay aligned with the rotor.
That is, the torque oscillates between positive and negative as the stator flux is passing the rotor.

Should I be able to tune the controller to get a constant torque during rotor stalling, or am I expecting to much from the SDK / hardware ?
