MCF8316A: open loop

I recently had a problem evaluating MCF8316A.

It works under closed loop, but adjusted to open loop, MCF8316A does not work.

Can you explain which parameters need to be adjusted under open-loop conditions?

Hi Qiao,

Just to make sure I understood it correctly, did you configure the ALGO_CTRL1 / CLOSED_LOOP_DIS[15] to "Disable closed loop" and don't see this working? Do you see any faults getting triggered in open loop?
