Hello Experts,

After following the steps mentioned in the Driver Installation Instructions of DRV8846 evaluation board, when I click on the  C:\ti\guicomposer\webapps\DRV8846EVM_GUIv1.0\launcher.exe file, I got the following Error message:

For your information, I have copied both the following orange marked folder to “C:\ti\guicomposer\webapps” folder.

 

sllc446a\DRV8846EVM_GUIv1.0\DRV8846EVM_GUIv1.0

sllc446a\Application\Firmware\DRV8846EVM_v1p0_firmware\DRV8846EVM_v1p0

In addition, I am using Windows 10.

Could you please help me to solve the issue?

    Hey Nusrat, 

    Just to make sure, did you install GUI Composer Runtime?  The latest version is 6.2.0.1 and can be downloaded from here or here:  https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/gc_downloads_v1runtime.html

    FYI you don't need to copy/move the firmware folder, that's only there for reference and if you feel like modifying it yourself.  

    I was able to get it working by installing the USB Driver, GUI composer runtime 6.2.0.1, and copying the GUIv1.0 files into this folder: 

    <-- installed USB driver by running this.  I am also on Windows 10. 

    Is this on your personal computer or a work computer?  Wondering if there is a firewall or security program that could be blocking its access.

    Thank you so much! The latest version link you provided, solved my issue. Mine was 5.5.0.2. This was on my work pc. Yes, firewall blocks sometimes and somehow I have to solve it.
