Is the over-current protection and detection in this material related to locked rotor?


If it does not meet the requirements of locked rotor detection and diagnostic detection, are there any other recommendations for similar specifications

    Hello,

    All the protection is defined in the datasheet in section 8.3.3.  There is OCP, but that is meant for output shorts.  

    What type of motor are you trying to drive and current rating?  We have some devices like the DRV8873 with iPropi output that can give you current information.  As current increases, would indicate a stall.
