hi TI member

when using DRV8870 .... how to choose the a proper PWM frequency ?

As reading the datasheet , just give the PWM frequency range 0~100KHz , 

also I find some information in the TI  website   https://training.ti.com/motor-interfaces-and-pwm-frequencies?keyMatch=PWM%20FREQUENCY

but i can not figure out how to get the forluma ?

pls help   thankyou

    Hello,

    There are many papers online on how to calculate Tau for your motor or your motor provider can provide it for you.  

    A good "rule of thumb" is to avoid the audio band and switch at >20kHz.  This will most likely satisfy all the conditions.
