DRV8876: Whether bus short circuit detection is supported?

I would like to know whether DRV8876 supports bus short circuit detection ?

TI how much BDC drivers support bus short circuit detection? Including industrial and automotive.

Hey Rhea,

Look for the "Functional safety information" document in the Technical Documentation of any devices you are looking at. Most of our automotive parts (DRV8xxx-Q1) should have this.

The document will detail what happens when VM is shorted to GND. I think for all our devices the description will be some form of "Device is powered off", sometimes with driver Hi-Z.
