referring to the GDF question regarding DRV8714-Q1, I would like to verify when the GDF can be triggered using DRV832x.
Is it right that the GDF can be triggered always, when the switching operation of the observed FET is finished as annotated in the diagram below?
This would mean, that a voltage peak greater than 2V (threshold) can lead to a GDF (blue and greed peak).

So the GDF can be just triggered at the beginning of stage 4 and stage 8? There is no continuous monitoring during stage 4 and 8?

Now a new question came up when using software deadtime, so delayed input signals INHx and INLx.
From another post I know, that the t_DRIVE time resets on every toggle of the input signals. How does this affect the GDF execution.
The following picture shows an example using software deadtime.
From my understanding the GDF can be triggered at T3 when t_DRIVE finally runs out.
Now I need to know what happens at T1 and T2. Is the GDF performed there or can the t_DRIVE reset / run out without a GDF query?

Hi Akshay,
referring to Anthony, the t_DRIVE time is reset at the toggle of an input.
As the signal change fo V_INHx and V_INLx are more than the input deglitcher time apart, they should be recognized as a new toggle.
From my understanding so far the t_DRIVE should be reset at T1 (due to the change of V_INLx).
The intention of the question is to understand what happens at the reset of t_Drive1. Are there any executions or is there just a reset of the t_DRIVE timer?
I just split it into t_Drive1 and t_Drive2 to make the retrigger more visible.
