1. How to use drv10983EVM to reverse the actuator in the test, to achieve the round trip movement between the two stop rods or other motion strategies.

2.What is the definition and calculation of the back electromotive force constant (KtPH) and torque constant (CT)?

  • Hi Reed,

Thanks for posting your question in MD forum. I will get back to you shortly.

  • Hi Reed,

    Here's my response.

    1. How to use drv10983EVM to reverse the actuator in the test, to achieve the round trip movement between the two stop rods or other motion strategies.

I assume you want to reverse the direction of rotation of our motor. To do this, you can pull the DIR pin to AVDD or GND.

2.What is the definition and calculation of the back electromotive force constant (KtPH) and torque constant (CT)?

Both are motor parameters. BEMF constant is the BEMF voltage that a motor can generate at a given motor speed. This is measured in V/krpm for high power motors and mV/Hz or mV/rad/sec for low power motors. Torque constant is the torque that a motor can generate at given stator current. This is measured in Nm/A.
