Hi team,

This is Jimmy follow automotive application head up display(HUD).

Since the motor has noise, our customer change Smart tune Ripple Control to Smart tune Dynamic Decay and notice that the noise is improved.

if we would like to use Dynamic Decay, should we have any concerns about this?

Jimmy,

There is only one concern. STALL detect feature will NOT work in STDD. It only works with STRC. If they do not care about STALL feature, then there is no concern.

Jimmy,

You can search the datasheet for the word "stall" and read all about it.

STDD = Smart Tune Dynamic Decay

STRC = Smart Tune Ripple Control
