DRV10975: Motor driver is NACKing own I2C address (0x52)

Hello,

I have been having a problem with my motor driver NACKing its own address, I know the bus works because I can communicate with other peripherals, so I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems communicating with the DRV10975.

My current setup:

Vcc: 11.1V

I2C Bus Freq: 400kHz

I2C Bus Voltage: 3.3V

Grant,

Do you have pull up resistors on SCL and SDA pins of the DRV10975 IC? Can you make sure you construct the data packet as shown in below screenshot? Image source: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/slvuaa5/slvuaa5.pdf

Thanks for the help! I ended up solving it myself but forgot to close the thread. It was a problem with the pullups, the ones I was using were not adequate for the 400kHz recommendation of the DRV10975, so I switched them out and now it is working great!
