DRV8889-Q1: Smart tune Ripple Control current out of regulation under high speed

Part Number: DRV8889-Q1

Hi team,

I'm testing DRV8889Q1 for customer. I use 1/256 step, step input 60k SPS, use the default the Smart tune Ripple Control mode, other configuration use default; I find the output current is out of regulation as below:

While, when I change the mode to "Smart tune Dynamic Decay" mode, the output current backs to normal as below:

We want to use the stall detection function, since it could only work under Smart tune Ripple Control mode, so could you help explain why under the high input frequency that the Smart tune Ripple Control mode current is out of regulation and how to make it back to normal?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Will
