Hi Josef,

Thermal resistance is not related to GND. Please refer this application note.

Hello Shinya, feedback from customer:

"could you please indicate the thermal resistance between junction and the GND pin.

We are asking because in our case the GND pin is connected the GND plain of a 4-layer board."

Hi Josef,

Thank you. Based on your description, Junction to board thermal resistance could be one. Please share 6.3C/W as datasheet.

Does this mean that the thermal resistance between junction and the GND pin is 6.3°C/W?

Hi,

If GND pin is tightly connected to PCB of GND as describes, GND pin temp could be almost same as PCB of GND. So I have mentioned that way previously.
