Hi Rahul,

The peak motor driver current ranges from 1.8A (min) to 5A (max). The DRV8812 will shutdown the outputs when it detects the current above 1.8A and is able to survive up to 5A for transients less than 1µs.

Can we use DRV8812 as DC motor driver without using extra function like current set, decay with fix current?

Yes. Up to two motors can be driven with the DRV8812.
