For DRV8332, if using six-step control, its power consumption will be smaller than using FOC control? Is this right? Since for six-step control, only two MOSFETS will be turned on during each step.

Thank you for posting to the Motor Driver's forum!

The MOSFET switching losses when using trapezoidal control are lower than using FOC/sinusoidal control.
