Can you provide the following information for DRV8251AEVM

1) Schematic

2) Calculation for VSense. It is not clear what Rsense is on the eval board,

3) Itrip value for the board as shipped

4) How to connect an external MCU to the DRV8251AEVM

I have downloaded and unzipped slvc830.zip. There are multiple schematics pdf and it is not clear which one is for the eval board I received, and I don't want to guess, debug/probe etc. This is the reason why I have asked the questions listed. Thank you.

The multiple schematics are based on the variant and MD039A(001) is the DRV8251A.

Hello Akshay. thanks for forwarding the schematic.

I have a remaining question/clarification sought. When calculating ITrip for VREF=3.3V, Rtrip=1.5K (per schematic) and A_IPROP1=1575 uA/A (per datasheet), I get a value of 1.39A. Can you please help me understand the calculations behind 2.2A listed as ITrip (in schematic).?

Also, please let me know the tolerance on RTrip (R5 in schematic).

Hey T NF,

You are correct when VREF = 3.3V then I trip = 1.397 A. The schematic note needs to be updated, sorry for the confusion.

The resistor has a 5% tolerance.
