Hi,
Good Day.
The customer wants to use the DRV8311. It's suitable for his application but small doubt in operating voltage.
DRV8311 Specification:
Operating Voltage = 3V-20V
Output Current = 5A peak
Max Voltage = 24V

Hi Vincent,
Continuously using the DRV8311 at 24 V can permanently break the device since 24 V exceeds the devices maximum rating.
TI recommends using a motor driver rated up to 1.2 × the maximum voltage for well-regulated supplies and low-power motors (<70 Watts), and 1.5 to 2 times for high-power motors (>70 watts) and battery systems.
Please refer to the Brushless-DC Motor Driver Considerations and Selection Guide app note for how to select the right motor driver for any application.
Best Regards,
Joshua
