Hi,

We are developing a FAN solution based on MCF8316A (Motor Driver) + MSP430FR2433 (MCU)

We downloaded "MCF8316AEVM_EEPROM_WRITE" to program it using I2C from TI website.

Our question is

"Is there any MCF8316A register definition C Headerfile available at TI website?" This will help us in configuring the MCF8316A quickly as well we don't miss out on any registers.

Hi Raghu,

Unfortunately, we don't have a specific C header file with MCF8316A register definition available at this moment.

You can refer to this example CCS project that uses the MSP-EXP430FR2355 LaunchPad to send I2C commands to the MCF8316A:

Please refer to the datasheet or the register map page of the MCF8316A_GUI for a full list of the registers available on the MCF8316A.
