DRV8308EVM: The accuracy of FGOUT output

Part Number: DRV8308EVM

Hi Team,

I used the 8308 to drive the motor driver. The error of the speed value collected by the AEDR-9930 encoder is 0.08%, and the error of the speed value calculated by the FGOUT signal is 1.5%. What is the reason for this, and what is the accuracy of FGOUT?

Hi Katharine,

What is SPEEDTH configured to? This parameter sets how much speed variation is allowed across Hall_U periods.

SPEEDTH is 6 by default.
