DRV8306: How to use FGOUT to measure speed?

Hi team,

According to the manual, FGOUT is used to measure speed, but it does not specify how many pulses a FGOUT can have in one turn. How to test the speed with FGOUT?  Thanks.

    Hi Cherry,

    Please see the following E2E post (Link), I believe it will answer your question despite being focused on a different device.

    The frequency of the output of the FGOUT pin is dependent on the frequency of the hall signals switching, this can be used to calculate the speed of the motor.
