DRV8889-Q1: Open load detection fault report behavior

Hello Expert,

I'd like to make sure about open load detection's fault report behavior.

This is just notification and don't have impact for device's other functions but fault report on nFault pin and FAULT/OL/OL_A/OL_B will be latched until releasing fault condition.
Is this understanding correct?

Hello Kuramochi-san,

Correct, this will be a notification and the device will continue to drive outputs including for the open load phase as mentioned in the Table 7-10. Fault Condition Summary in page-37. And yes, the fault report will be latched. See below section snippet from the datasheet.
