BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS: Custom driver board for a BLDC Motor

Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD88599Q5DC

Hello,

We are developing a BLDC motor driver with DRV8323RS as Driver and CSD88599Q5DC as the power mosfets. After some tests with different settings of IDrive we decided to leave as default (IDRIVEP_HS=1000mA, IDRIVEN_HS=2000mA, IDRIVEP_LS=1000mA, IDRIVEN_LS=2000mA, DeadTime = 100nS). With these settings we made a stress test with a mean power compsumition of the motor about 250W with the following thermal results:

The point at 64.1°C is the Driver.

The point at 45.6°C is one of the power mosfets from the bridge.

Are these results right? Because we expect to have more temperature at the mosfets because they have an exposed pad.
