ULC1001-DRV290XEVM: Over power

Part Number: ULC1001-DRV290XEVM

Hi,

We are currently supplying a voltage of 12V with a current of 5A to the ULC1001-DRv2900 EVM bundle. However, after performing the calibration process, we are encountering an "Over Power" indication when checking the power.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide some insights into the possible reasons behind this over power condition.

Additionally, we kindly request guidance on how we can go about resolving this issue. Any specific information or troubleshooting steps you can provide to help us diagnose and rectify the situation would be highly valuable..

  • Hi Pankaij,

Can you tell me a little more about your setup?  Is this the bundle with the flat lens?  If so, is it attached to the output?

After attached, you can hit the run button for calibration wth the default GUI settings.  Are you reporting that after this you encounter the over power?

You can refer to the calibration output for R1 and R2.  How are the real and apparent power readings of the transducer?

  • Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your response. I have attached the flat lens (received in the bundle) at the output of the EVK.

It show over power once I play the power button in power and diagnostic window.

I am not able to get the technical datasheet of the transducer.

  • Hi Pankaj,

I think you have your hardware setup correct, but for the GUI - please run the default calibration and then run the water cleaning modes to show the demo.  The over power light should not come on during this routine.

You can refer to the GUI user guide on the power mode to see it's functionality.
