Hi.
We want to run 2 phase brushless DC motor with DRV10987.
Is it able with DRV10987? can we disable one of phase?
and do you prefer any IC for run Brushless DC Motor at 24VDC,2A?

Ceyhun,
DRV10987 is designed to operate 3-phase BLDC motors. Using DRV10987, we cannot operate 2-phase motor.

Ceyhun,
2-phase BLDC motors are not very common. We do not have any device in our portfolio that supports 2-phase BLDC motor driver.

Is TI has any solution for run 2-phase motor?
Hi,
Why 2 phase? Two phase motor has more disadvantage than 3 phase: 2 phase needs 4 half-bridges as opposed to 3-phase needs 3 half bridges.

The DRV10987 only has 3 output and this is not enough output to drive the 2 phase motor which should have 4 wires for the stator winding.
