Dear team,
I have some questions regarding the electrical characteristics of DRV3205 mortor driver.
This driver allows the gate current to be set by the register CURR* and when CURR* is 0x00, the values are follows.
MIN :TYPx0.1
Nom :0.15
MAX :TYPx1.9
This means that the gate drive current takes a minimum 0.015A to a maximum 0.285A.
Compared to the other settings, it seems large when viewed as a ratio, but it can also be taken to be close when viewed in terms of the actual range of variation.
What is the difference when consider the ratio compared to the other settings?
In particular, this motor driver cannot rurn on the MOSFET if the value actually swings toward the minimum value when this setting is used.
Is this variation correct?
And could you please give us information on the actual manufacturing variation?
Best regards,
Tsutomu Hibi.
