  • Hi Eric,

Can you suggest a few suppliers of low cost piezo-actuators that would work well with the DRV8662.

...And does the EVM come with a sample piezo actuator or do we have to procure one? If it does, who is the supplier/manufacturer?

    Best regards,

    Gonzalo

  • Gonzalo,

The EVM kit does not include a Piezo actuator at the moment, but we hope to include one soon.  Here are a few Piezo actuator vendors:

    • AAC Technologies (recommended)
    • Murata
    • NEC-Tokin
    • Hokuriku

    Thanks,
    Brian

  • Eric, I just requested to purchase the EVM via your form but my computer malfuctioned at the end of the process. Would you kindly confirm that you got the order?

    Name: Gonzalo Naranjo

    Company: Cipangu Operations Inc.

    Let me know,

    Regards,

    gn

  • Gonzalo,

I just checked our system and I didn't see the order placed, did you receive any kind of confirmation number or email from the TI Estore?  You should be able to login into the estore and look under the "account" tab to see all your recent orders, if you do not see it there then definitely reorder.  Let me know if you encounter any other issues.

  • Eric, when the form below is submitted it does not take you to the TI Store. It only provides a  response saying that someone will get in touch in 24 hours. Follow the form and you will see.

This seems to be a different ordering process than the one I have seen with other TI parts.
