TIDM-02014: Upgrade Wolfspeed 300kW Inverter to TIDM Traction Inverter

Hello my company has purchased more then 12 of the Wolfspeed 300kW inverters and we've recently noticed the new TIDM-02014 Traction Inverter.

I was wonder what it would take to alter the existing design to this new Traction Inverter.

We currently have 12 that would be great candidates for this upgrade / update.

Also wanted to know if the motor control methodology is Space Vector Control.

Any advice / help appreciated.

    Hi Wills,

    In order to upgrade the Wolfspeed 300kw Inverter, you just need to install new PCB board from TIDM-02014 to your inverter. For each inverter, it needs 1* control board, 3* gate driver board and 1* MCU control card.

    The motor control methodology is FOC+ SPWM(with 3rd harmonic injection). The algrithtom has same performance as SVPWM, but easier to implement.
