MCT8316A: not detect Speed Out from DACOUT

Hi,

I am using MCT8316AEVM.

To measureing Speed Out, set [DAC_SOX_CONFIG] to "DACOUT2" and set [DACOUT2_VAR_ADDR] to "Speed Out(0x5AA)" .

But "DACOUT2/SOX" outputs no signal.

After I tried to change [DACOUT2_VAR_ADDR] to "Input Duty Cycle(0x40C)" , I confirmed "DACOUT2/SOX" outputs signal.

But, when [DACOUT2_VAR_ADDR] is set to "Current Duty Cycle" , "3ph Duty cycle","Closed loop speed Ref", "AVS Ramp Down Duty","Speed Equiv. Duty",

there was no signal like "Speed Out"

Do I need to configure something else to cofirm signal?

Thanks for reporting this issue. I've confirmed this on my setup and it appears that the list of variable addresses need to be updated in the GUI.

Please use 0x5C4 for speed out on DAC

Below are the list of variable address can be used with DAC

Input Duty Cycle : 0x40C
Set Duty Cycle : 0x502
Current Duty Cycle : 0x4F2

AVS Ramp down duty : 0x6BE
Speed Eqlt Duty : 0x660

Motor Speed in P.U : 0x5AE
DC Bus Power in PU : 0x6EE

Close loop Speed reference : 0x59C

Speed Ki : 0x5BE
Speed Kp : 0x5BC
Speed Out : 0x5C4

However, I don't know how to use 0x5C4.

I entered ”0x5C4” the yellow section in the figure below,but there was no signal.

Please tell me how to use 0x5C4.

Are you testing in speed loop? These variable works only speed loop other wise address 0x5C4 will not function

Below 5 variables should work always

Input Duty Cycle : 0x40C
Set Duty Cycle : 0x502
Current Duty Cycle : 0x4F2

Motor Speed in P.U : 0x5AE
DC Bus Power in PU : 0x6EE

Below variables are relevant only in speed mode

Close loop Speed reference : 0x59C

Speed Ki : 0x5BE
Speed Kp : 0x5BC
Speed Out : 0x5C4
