DRV8434S: Different VREF for A and B

Hi team, 

Customer would like to set each different VREF for DAC between Aout and Bout.

Is there any solution to achive this?

    Hello Kento,

    The AOUT current is calculated by taking the sine of the electrical angle while BOUT current is calculated by taking the cosine of the electrical angle. 

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to set a different VREF for AOUT and BOUT. As the DRV8434S is a dedicated stepper driver, it does not have the capability to have independent VREFs for each output. Typically, more generic two H-bridge drivers will have independent VREFs for each H-Bridge.
