The customer wants to confirm whether the DRV8844pwpr has a current detection pin? How to do current detection?

    Hello Annie,

    To monitor current, you can use a current-sense resistor between the SRC12/SRC34 pin and the VNEG pin. This is an external connection, but this would allow for current detection.

    Update: To add, in the case that you would like to perform real-time monitoring of the current, you will need to have an external current sense amplifier in order to bring the SENSE voltage to within the dynamic range of the analog-to-digital converter.
