DRV8718S-Q1EVM: Why there is a step in the high level of the GL pin of the DRV8717S-Q1 EVM

When I use the DRV8718S-Q1 EVM, i set the EVM in PWM mode to control the low side MOSFET, I found that there will be a step when the GL1 pin is high (as shown in the picture above)

What is the reason for this phenomenon and how to solve it?

The configuration of the GUI interface is shown in the figure above, and other parameters are GUI default configurations.

It is expected behaivior. After tDRIVE, driving current move to IHOLD.

Could you share your question background? Is customer asking these questions while customer is evaluating TI EVM?

Yes. My customer is evaluating TI's EVM and decide whether use our DRV8718-Q1 or not.
