What is the proposal for putting the GDRV in safe state in case of error condition? (ISO 26262)

Can you share with us safety documents related to this chip?

The DRV8718-Q1 is not one of our functional safety classified products, you can find more about our classifications here: https://www.ti.com/technologies/functional-safety.html#:~:text=Functional%20safety%20classificatons

None of our parts are shipped with an ASIL rating alone, it is up to the customer to design their system and qualify the entire system for the required ASIL level as ASIL is a system-level qualification.
