DRV8841: protection features

Part Number: DRV8841

Hi Team,

Regarding Overcurrent Protection (OCP), what is the current value that is triggered by the overcurrent protection?

Regarding Thermal Shutdown (TSD), at what temperature will it be triggered?

And for Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), what are the input and output under voltage protection trigger voltages?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hello Cherry,

Regarding Overcurrent Protection (OCP), what is the current value that is triggered by the overcurrent protection?

The minimum OCP limit is 3A as stated in the datasheet.

Regarding Thermal Shutdown (TSD), at what temperature will it be triggered?

The typical TSD limit is 160C.

And for Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), what are the input and output under voltage protection trigger voltages?

The UVLO limit is 7.8V (typ) for VM rising. We do not data for VM falling but it will be around the same value as 7.8V.
