BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM: Selection of components for BLDC motor FOC control

This is my first time to control the BLDC motor.
My ultimate goal is to create an actuator with impedance control.

I would like to run Alien Power System's APS 5055S Sensed Outrunner Brushless Motor 220KV 1600W motor using a 6-cell battery.

First of all, I want to run the motor using the STM32 MCU I have, but I am also willing to buy a LAUNCHXL-F28379D board that is compatible with EVM and use it together.

Can I use BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM to achieve my desired goal?
Or I would appreciate it if you could recommend a better combination and solution.

Essentially, you need to list the voltage and current that you plan on using. From there the driver choice is dependent on which features you'd like the DRV to have. Looks like the max voltage on this motor is 33.6V and the max current is 50A. If you plan on having an input current less than 15A then the DRV8305 EVM will work. The DRV8329 and DRV8328 EVMs are designed for 30A, so I recommend those if you are operating below 30A. The max supply voltage for DRV8305 is 45V. It's best to keep the max voltage of the driver 1.5 times the supply voltage or greater. DRV8329 and DRV8328 have max voltages of 60V, which means you could operate your motor at the maximum voltage and still be fine on the driver side.

When looking at what driver you plan to use, please ensure you look at the average gate current, as that is the main determinate of what MOSFETs you can drive, which determines how much current you can pass into your motor. I would go with whichever launchpad is recommended for the EVM. The EVM is built for this launchpad so it will be the easiest to use in conjunction.
