MCF8316A: Can TI program this part with our config file?

Hi,

3 questions:

1) Can TI program the MCF8316A part with our config file and then send us programmed chips so we can populate our pcb.

2) Is the MCF8316AEVM obsolete already? I can't find stock anywhere. This is what we used to program our chips and we have one left. if we burn it, we are in a bad situation.

3) I believe it is the micro controller on the 8316aevm that is dead on my board. Do you have extras I can repair my board with? I'll double check to make sure its the micro if this is possible.

Unfortunately, we currently do not support shipping chips with customized EEPROM register values.

You can use MCT8316AEVM and MCF8316A GUI to program MCF8316A IC on your PCB. The I2C communication schematic is same for MCF8316AEVM and MCT8316AEVM.
