DRV8243S-Q1LEVM: how to tell if the device is pre-sample device?

Hi team,

My customer replied that they used the DRV8243-Q1 EVM function to tell short circuit issue or open circuit issue but the device didn't support the function. So I want to check if the device on the EVM is pre-sample device which doesn't have this function.  Could you show us how to tell if the device is pre-sample device?
